So after 41 years on this planet I have come to a realization, alcohol is a seriously dangerous substance. I've always know how dangerous and addictive alcohol can be, and I've never had a problem with consuming alcohol but almost everyone around me consume alcohol in excess. I have an aversion to alcohol, I don't care to use it at all.I'm 21 days sober from polysubstance abuse (benzodiazepines, alcohol and many years ago, opiates). My younger brother didn't survive his due to being ran over by a train from train hopping, but secondarily due to drugs and alcohol. One second at a time, one hour at a time, one day at a time, etc.
