If it is the IWE grinding it's not urgent but it'll eventually grind itself out and the hub won't lock when you put it in 4x4. I assume you still have warranty being a 2016.

IWE noises are only evident while in motion, as would any other rotational noises that are common such as differential bearings. Groaning noises are usually associated with a bad bearing, generally speaking, a wheel bearing. Unless you have an F150 in which case it could also be bad front differential bearings.So I got a brand new 2023 XLT 2.7L ecoboost two weeks ago with only 5km's on it.
