Had 8-10" everywhere except that there was a spot 20yds by 10yds wide with only 5" of ice. This is 50yds northwest of the far north airport light. Everywhere else ice was good with some water on top. For everyone calling and texting about boat launch on the flowage. Long view point 7th street is complete, still no doc’s in yet.Last Quarter. The spring crappie bite on Delavan Lake has been consistently strong over the past few weeks, with exceptional crappie fishing reported in the last couple of days. Anglers have reported an abundance of crappies measuring between 12 to 14 inches being caught. Currently, they are in the depths ranging from 4 to 8 feet of water.Trout Lake. Trout Lake is a 3864 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 117 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.
